Richard Joe Blank

Richard Joseph Blank, 64, of Tappahannock VA, formerly of Fredericksburg VA, Spencer IA, and Omaha NE, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at a Richmond hospital. He was a retired carpenter, a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Fair Blank; six children, Jon Blank of Fredericksburg, Sharon Fair of Tappahannock, Lori Hein of Richmond, and Leslie Lamb, Jolene Simon and Tammy Blank, all of Nebraska; six grandchildren, Raegan, Amber and Emily Meredith Blank, and Lisa, Kristina and Melanie Pishock.

A web search appears to show that Joe was first married to Kay Hawkinson, now Kay Hawkinson (Barrs), and the children in Nebraska were theirs.

Tamara Kay Blank, 50, of Auburn, Nebraska formerly of Table Rock, Nebraska, passed away at Good Samaritan in Auburn, Nebraska on Monday, July 11, 2011. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 29, 1961 to Richard Joseph and Kay (Hawkinson) Blank.

Tamara lived in many different places, Omaha, Madrid, Newell, Papillion, Rapid City Doone and Brooking, South Dakota. She attended school in Table Rock and Omaha until her sophomore year. Tamara loved horses, bingo and Husker Football games. Tamara was baptized in the Lutheran Church.

Tamara was married to Kirk VandenBosch in Doone, IA. Tamara was preceded in death by her father, Richard Blank and her step-father, Bobby Barrs.

She is survived by her mother, Kay Barrs of Table Rock, Nebraska, her children, Jessie VandenBosch, IA, Erin VandenBosch of South Dakota, Heidi VandenBosch, April Komor, Carter Lake, IA, sisters, Leslie Eileen Lamb, Jolene Annette Lang, and brother Jonathan Richard Blank, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
