From Darlene Utterback (Christian)I noticed that Ron Vosler was not listed as deceased on the Reunion Website. I called my brother, Gene, who knew Ron pretty well.
Here is the info that Gene provided:
Ron was born January 25, 1941. He died of cancer April 27, 2003. He was survived by his wife, Peggy, and two daughters.
Ron and his wife had a home on the Platte River, where Ron enjoyed airboating with his friends. He ran an auto parts store, laundromat and car wash in Ashland, Nebraska until his retirement. His wife has since relocated to Texas where one daughter lives. Another daughter lives in Kansas. Ron served in the Navy, as well.
Nancy Hester (Nicholson)
Ronald LeRoy Vosler was born 25 January 1941 in Ashland, Saunders County Nebraska, to Floyd L. & Goldie Fern (Hall) Vosler. He died 27 April 2003 in Gretna, NE & is buried at the Ashland Cemetery in Ashland, Saunders County, NE. His Find-A-Grave Memorial # is 7641508. He is one of 30 Vosler family members listed for that cemetery, including his parents, sister Sandra J. Vosler Fortner (b 24 June 1939 d. 5 NOV 2011) & brother Richard D. Vosler (b. 4 AUG 1945 d. 28 MAY 1968).
